Same-Day Blocked Drain Clearing in Marsfield

The "Field of Mars" name is not just decoration. Streets here take their names from historic battles, a nod to a military namesake with nothing whatsoever to do with drainage.

More than anything else, it is roots from the suburb's reserves and leafy streets driving recurring blockages on the higher ground, especially where a block backs onto bushland or a park like Marsfield Park or Trafalgar Reserve.

That park itself carries a sportsfield and a Riding for the Disabled facility off Culloden Road, and the bushland woven through the middle of it sends roots toward buried pipe nearby just as readily.

Nunook Reserve, a smaller pocket of green a few streets over, does much the same job on a quieter scale.

None of this is confined to one corner of the suburb either. Kent Road Public School sits well clear of the reserves, yet still reports the same root-related call-outs, simply because the streets around it were planted out at the same time as everywhere else and grew up on the same clay drainage.

Clearing the blockage comes first either way, and a camera check afterwards confirms whether root growth has already damaged the pipe or just narrowed it for now.
